About the University of Denver Club Women's Lacrosse
DU Club Women's Lacrosse provides an opportunity to play lacrosse competitively at the collegiate level. Club women’s lacrosse is open to all female University of Denver students. We encourage participants to have previous lacrosse experience but welcome members of all levels.
Our team competes against regional teams and participates in tournaments such as the Santa Barbara Shootout each year. We practice twice per week and are most active in the winter and spring quarters.
DU Club Women's Lacrosse is a member of the Rocky Mountain Women's Lacrosse League. We are in Division II, East and compete against teams from Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. We also compete in invitational tournaments such as the Santa Barbara Shootout in California.
DU Club Women's Lacrosse made an appearance at the 2015 WCLA national championships in Virginia Beach securing 7th place in the nation!
The University of Denver also has an NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse team, which is totally separate from the DU Club Women's Lacrosse team.
